MeetMytriSanatkumar

A monk dedicated to the Vishuddhi Marga way of life, Mytri Sanatkumar has studied and practiced the traditions of Sanatana Dharma in Bharat and Theravada Buddhism in Sri Lanka, mastering meditation, yoga, and spiritual wisdom.

Mytri Sanatkumar is a monk who has realized and visualized the Vishuddhi Marga way of life. He has had the fortune of practicing and understanding spiritual texts and practices under the traditions of the Sanatana Dharma in India (Bharat) and the Buddhist practices in Sri Lanka.

He was initiated at a young age into the practices of Pranayama and meditation. After completing his university education, Mytri under went to learn and practice under different teachers and gurus in Bharat.

Some of the notable places being the holy city of Varanasi, Sringeri and the famous Panini Mahavidyalaya in Sonipat Haryana. While learning in these holy places Mytri has had the opportunity to learn from many notable teachers and monks who belong to the Sanatana Dharma tradition, and was able to learn the Sanskrit grammar and many other spiritual texts and practices related to yoga.

After the period of learning and practicing in Bharat he wanted to understand the path of the Buddha. This direction led him to join the forest monastery belonging to the Theravada tradition of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. His initiated name into Buddhism is India Mettavasa. During his time learning and practicing in Sri Lanka he had newer insights into the path of meditation and wisdom according to the Buddha.
